Frequently asked questions

What is Olyvo?
Olyvo tracks flight prices and tells you whether a price is genuinely a good deal — not just what it costs. It watches routes around the clock and emails you when one drops. Hotels and car rentals are next.
How does Olyvo know if a price is a good deal?
We record real prices for each route over time and build our own price history. When you search, we compare today's fare to that route's typical price — so you can see if it's below, around, or above normal. We only call something a deal when it's genuinely, confidently cheap.
Is Olyvo free?
Yes — completely free, and we never take a payment from you. If you book through one of our links we may earn a small commission from the airline or travel site, at no extra cost to you. That's how we keep Olyvo free.
How is Olyvo different from Skyscanner or Google Flights?
Those show you prices; Olyvo tells you whether a price is actually good. It's a transparency-and-alerts layer on top of search — is this fare a steal or a rip-off versus the usual price, and watch it for me so I don't have to keep checking.
Does Olyvo show direct flights?
Yes. We show both direct and connecting flights, and we judge a direct fare against other direct fares — so a good non-stop price isn't unfairly labelled 'expensive' just because a connection is cheaper.
How do price-drop alerts work?
Track any route with your email and, optionally, a target price. Olyvo watches it and emails you when it drops below your target or becomes a genuine deal. One clear email — no spam, unsubscribe in a click.
Do I need an account?
No — you can start watching a route with just your email. If you'd like a dashboard to manage all your watches in one place, sign in with a magic link (no password needed).
When are hotels and car rentals coming?
They're on the way — the same honest deal-radar, for where you stay and what you drive. Join the waitlist on the Hotels or Car Rentals page and we'll tell you the moment they launch.
