Deals, caught live

Real fares that are genuinely cheap right now — each judged against that route’s own typical price, not hype.

The same fares, judged honestly

Olyvo doesn’t have secret prices — it books the same flights everyone else does. What’s different is that we tell you the truth about them.

Is this price actually good?
Most flight sitesA vague hint, if any — “prices are low right now”
OlyvoA number, with its basis: “12% below typical over 30 days”
Which link comes first?
Most flight sitesOften the partner that pays the most
OlyvoThe cheapest fare we can find — commission comes second
Pressure tactics
Most flight sites“1 seat left!”, countdown timers, fake scarcity
OlyvoNone. We only ping you on a genuine drop
Where the verdict comes from
Most flight sitesA black box you're asked to trust
OlyvoPrices we've tracked ourselves — and we show the count
What it costs you
Most flight sitesFree, funded by ads and affiliate links
OlyvoAlso free — we just don't dress the commission up as a “deal”

“Most flight sites” describes common practice across the industry, not any single company. We’d rather earn your trust than name-call.

We only call it a deal when it actually is one. No countdowns, no “1 seat left”, no price we can’t stand behind — just an honest read and a nudge when it’s worth it.

That’s the whole company, in one sentence.

How it works

Olyvo does two simple things: it tells you if a price is fair, then watches it and pings you when it drops.

  1. 01

    Search live prices

Real flight prices, searched right now. Hotels and cars are next.

  2. 02

    See a steal or a rip-off

Olyvo sizes each price up against the usual rate, so you know before you book.

  3. 03

    Track it, get pinged

Not ready yet? Olyvo keeps checking through the day and emails you when it drops.

How flight pricing actually works

Cheaper than usual isn’t a deal.

Fares wander all day long. A price that’s a little under average is just noise. A real deal is a fare that sits well below its route’s normal range, and it rarely sticks around.

Fare for one route over a 120-day booking windowThe price line mostly wanders inside a shaded usual-range band. One point plunges well below the band, the real deal, while the final two weeks spike sharply above it.USUAL RANGEFARE120 DAYS OUT60 DAYS OUTDEPARTURENORMAL NOISELAST-2-WEEK SPIKETHE DEAL
One route · 120 days of pricing · one moment worth booking

1 in 4

flights

end up 25%+ cheaper than their launch price, and another 1 in 4 end up 85%+ dearer. Movement is the norm, not the signal.

60–120

days before departure

is the calm window, where fares mostly drift inside their usual range. The last two weeks are the wildest.

Every day

fares are rewritten

by airline pricing algorithms, a few times daily, more on busy routes. Most of that motion means nothing.

So what counts as a deal?

Not 10% off. Not a ‘sale’ banner.

A real deal sits well below what that route normally costs, shows up briefly, and is usually gone before most people notice. That’s the moment worth booking, not a fare that’s merely a little cheaper than last week.

And when nothing’s genuinely low, Olyvo stays quiet. No filler, no “prices from £39!” noise, silence is a feature. You only hear from us when it’s actually worth it.

Straight answers

01Won't I miss the good ones while I'm asleep or at work?

That's the whole point of a watch. Good fares surface and vanish while you're busy living your life, so you don't have to sit refreshing anything. Olyvo keeps an eye on your routes and lets you know when one is genuinely worth booking.

02How is this different from Google Flights or Skyscanner?

Those are search tools: they price a flight at the moment you look, which is brilliant for that. But they won't tell you whether £180 is normal or remarkable for that route. Search tools price a flight when you look; Olyvo tells you when it's worth looking.

03Do I have to be flexible on dates and destinations?

More flexibility means more deals, but it isn't all-or-nothing. Tell Olyvo the routes and rough windows you care about and you'll only hear from it when something in that space is genuinely low. The looser your dates, the more it can catch.

04Are these “mistake fares”? Is it safe to book them?

Mostly no. The bulk are real, airline-published sale fares and pricing dips, not errors. The occasional genuine mistake fare is the wildest saving but the least reliable. Olyvo sanity-checks routing and dates, and flags anything that looks unusual, so you can book with your eyes open.

05How fast do I need to act when an alert arrives?

Treat a low fare as time-sensitive. The best ones are the shortest-lived, sometimes a day, sometimes hours, and seats at that price are limited. If a trip matters to you, it's worth booking promptly rather than sleeping on it.

06Is it worth it if I only fly once or twice a year?

Often more so. If you travel occasionally, a single well-timed fare can save more than a frequent flyer nets from loyalty points all year. You don't need to fly often, you just need to book the trips you do take at the right moment.
